A U.S. federal agency, other than Customs and Border Protection, that regulates certain imported goods. Also called an Other Government Agency (OGA). Examples include the FDA, USDA, EPA and CPSC. Goods under a PGA’s authority need that agency’s data, permits or certificates before CBP will release them.
